I was born in 1952 in Mannheim, Germany.
In 1973 I started studying Pedagogy in München.
When my four children were old enough I began Oriental Dance and opened the "Ägyptische Tanzschule" in Münster (1992), teaching many women and performing on stage with my dancing group "Raks Balady".
In 1998 oil painting came into my life. I followed many lessons with various teachers, and in 2004 I founded the "Studio für Ölmalerei" in Münster where I taught oil painting lessons for over 14 years.
In 2018 a heart’s desire came true to move and live in Bavaria enjoying the special light and nature there.
In my work I try to transform color into light.
