He was born in Pulsano (Taranto) in 1950 and studied at the Art Institute of Grottaglie, ranging within various expressive forms. His artistic research over the years is increasingly inspired by the themes of his land, Apulia, with its traditions, natural elements and colors . He prefers painting oil on canvas, with an impressionistic character, but does not disdain the comparison with contemporary artistic currents and the suggestions of some Japanese artists. His works are reviewed in important specialized catalogues and magazines and are present in public and private institutional locations. His most recent production reveals his artistic maturity, detaching from figurative representation and showing the influence of informal expressive languages, supported by a surprising technical and artistic versatility. His bond with his origins and the Apulian territory where he lives and works. |
